The Michigan Center for Youth Justice (MCYJ) is releasing a new public transparency tool to help the public stay informed about Michigan’s licensed Child Caring Institutions (CCIs), which provide out-of-home care and residential services for children and youth across multiple public systems.

On Friday, the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives passed a long-awaited bill that will help ensure every young person in Michigan has access to high-quality legal representation.

Michigan Center for Youth Justice has just received a $1 million grant from the Public Welfare Foundation to lead a statewide coalition focused on building upon the historic reforms passed in 2023 through the Justice for Kids and Communities Act.
