Katie Martin joined MCYJ in spring of 2023, after working for many years in the field of higher education, working at both small, private colleges as well as the University of Michigan. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University. While completing her master's degree, Katie served as a research/teaching assistant in the criminal justice department at EMU and volunteered for various organizations, including the Michigan Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative and First Step-Wayne County.
